The Daily Orange writes:
The University Place promenade is set to be complete Aug. 22, said Pete Sala, vice president and chief campusfacilities officer, in a campus construction update sent to the Syracuse University community on Monday.
After the concrete foundation for the promenade was poured last week, Sala said in the email that the plinths are currently being completed and the bricks are being set rapidly.
