Information Regarding New Bus Stops on Waverly Avenue and College Place

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:

Earlier this week, we distributed the summer construction update. Now that more members of our community have returned to campus, we wanted to share this update again as it contains important information about bus routes. Additionally, the maps we previously shared did not provide the necessary alternative text to be accessible for all members of our community.

We apologize for that oversight and have provided this information in both map and text form regarding a number of new transportation options now available for members of our campus community.

Specifically, there are a number of new bus stops that are now operational along College Place and Waverly Avenue. The new bus stops will afford passengers more convenience in taking a Centro bus either to the downtown Syracuse transit hub, or popular destinations for shopping and entertainment throughout Central New York. The bus stops and destinations are highlighted in the map below and followed by a text-only description.

Waverly Avenue: There will now be four bus stops located on Waverly Avenue, including two stops for buses heading eastbound, and two stops for buses heading westbound. View a full-size version of the map at Syracuse University News. A text-only description follows the map.
