In the Media: Syracuse University plans to renovate Sheraton for student housing (WSYR-TV)

Syracuse University announced Tuesday that it wants to renovate the Sheraton Hotel on University Avenue to make it student housing. The school wants to move all undergraduate housing from south campus to the main campus as a part of the University Campus Framework— a long-term plan meant to guide future campus development. “Part of the framework is to bring housing a little big closer to main campus, to have a more integrated and unified campus.  We haven’t made any decision on time line on that.  the plan does anticipate a new boutique hotel on campus or near campus,” said Kevin Quinn, senior vice president of public affairs.
