Syracuse University’s Campus Framework was released in May 2017 and established a 20-year vision to re-shape the physical environment of the campus. At the time of the report’s release, four capital projects were identified as cornerstones of the effort to reimagine the campus environment. Work on those projects began immediately and has continued in the intervening years. As further priority projects are identified, they will be added to this page.
JMA Wireless Dome Transformation

A new era began on Sept. 13, 2019, as Syracuse University opened the University’s state-of-the-art health, wellness and recreation complex.
National Veterans Resource Center
The dedication of the National Veterans Resource Center on Nov. 3, 2021, marked the official grand opening of a building that represents a continuation of Syracuse University’s long-standing commitment to those who have worn our nation’s uniform and their families.
Transformed by an abundance of natural light, warm Syracuse Orange colors and a new vibrant spirit, the renovated Hildegarde and J. Myer Schine Student Center officially opened its doors on Feb. 8, 2021.
